Accounts Manager

Duties:

• Assisting with workflow management and job allocation
• Working closely with Directors
• Managing your own client portfolio
• Liaison with a variety of clients – preparing and reviewing their financial statements
• Input regarding accounting systems and ongoing developments with Making Tax Digital
• Prepare financial statements and Corporation Tax returns for limited companies (FRS105 and FRS102A)
• Preparation of sole trade and partnership accounts
• VAT returns and management accounts
• Assistance with adhoc projects: budgets, forecasts, MTD integrations
• Mentor and manage junior accounting staff members

Experience:

• ACCA/ACA qualified
• Minimum of 2 years Post Qualified Experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous supervisory experience or an ability to be able to oversee a small team
• Career driven
